Hello my friends....I hope everyone had a good week-end. It's still rainy here in New England. The Ark passed by, Noah and all the animals waved. Maybe we'll see the sun soon. I sure hope so.

Journal pages and a good book.

I just finished a really good book called "The Sugar Queen" by Sarah Addison Allen. A sweet and magical book. A real break from reality. I highly recommend it.

I've also posted some journal pages from my class with Kelly.

Handmade Journal

The weather here in New England has really been dreary. In the past three weeks we've only had three days of sunshine. So I've been spending a lot of time in my studio.

I've been keeping up with Kelly's class and still loving it. I've also been altering old books to turn them into journals. I also just finished my second handmade journal to use in the July class.
I used a flower, some flocking and some feathers to give it some dimension.

Just a quick post....busy dealing with a flat tire and a sick cat. Here's my lastest journal page.

Strawberry Moon

Tonight's full moon has been named the Strawberry Moon by the Algonquin tribe, because the short harvesting period for strawberries, comes in the month of June. However in Europe it's called the Rose Moon.

Caffeine-crazed grunge

Been busy doing my "Prompt a Day" class with Kelly Kilmer, and loving it. I'm learning a lot and having a lot of fun. This is a quick page that I did for my daily journal (not a part of Kelly's class) I've been experimenting with grunge. I'm just having a great time with all my journals.

Busy Day

It's 3 PM and I'm exhausted. Went shopping for art supplies (two different stores), picked up sunglasses at eye doctor, did three journal pages and decorated a hat. But it was
so much fun.
I've posted two of the pages, the third one needs some journaling.
