I spent the last week in N.J. because my Dad was in the hospital with pneumonia. Just got home Friday and Saturday my Mom went into the hospital. It might be awhile before I'm back to blogging, so bear with me.

I'm Back!

The wedding was great. Everyone had a fantastic time, despite the weather. North Jersey had a nor"easter all week-end. Seven inches of rain and hurricane force winds. It usually takes 20 mins. to get from NJ to NY, but it took us 2 and a half hours because of flooding. Instead of 4 and half hours to get home, it took us 9 hours. But it was worth every minute.
I'll be posting more pictures soon.

Blog break

I'll be taking a little blog break starting today. I'm going to N.J. for my son's wedding. I am so looking forward to seeing family members that I haven't seen in years. Plus, three of my grand-daughters are in the wedding, can't wait to see how cute they look.

I plan on doing a lot of eating, drinking and dancing. I'll be back sometime next week.

Biorhythms

Ok....so I guess my biorhythms must be pretty low today. I was in my studio today and went to sit in the chair, but the chair wasn't there and I fell on my ass.
My studio also has slanted ceilings on one side of the room and I wasn't paying attention and walked right into it. Then I roasted a chicken for dinner tonight and for some odd reason, I grabbed the handles of the roasting pan without using potholders.
So now, I'm sitting on my couch with a glass of wine and Russell Stover chocolate...I think I deserve that much.

Glad to be back

Hi guys.....I am so glad to be back in blogland. On Thursday night NH experienced hurricane force wind and heavy snow. The wind was clocked at 91 miles per hour in some areas. Needless to say this knocked down trees and power lines. We were without power, without heat and without running water for four and a half days. All the hotels were filled, so we just roughed it out. I was literally gathering buckets of snow to melt so we could flush our toilets.
I have a new found respect for our ancestors, we take so much for granted. Anyway, I'll be making another post as soon as I get caught up on emails.
