A Very Merry Un-Birthday

Hi all.....hope you are all having a great holiday week-end. I just wanted to share my latest card with you. I made this one for my cousin. Hope you like it.

Meet Yvette, she is the first in a series of tags that I'm making called "Story Tags". Each tag has a pocket in the back of the tag that has a little story about the image on the tag. Yvette's story is about her being a Paris showgirl.

Happy Monday

Hi Everyone...hope you all had a good week-end. Our weather was beautiful so we barbecued all week-end. We were supposed to do some landscaping along the side of the house, but Don fell while taking out the recycling bin. He wasn't hurt bad, but he bruised up his knees pretty bad, so he wasn't in the mood to landscape.

Here's another card for one of my grand-daughters. Hope you all have a good week.

Here is another book mark that I made and the pocket card I made to put the book marks in. I'm sending this card to my oldest grand-daughter, cause she loves to read....takes after Grandma Joyce. ;)

Queen of Hearts

I just recently saw the Tim Burton movie, "Alice in Wonderland." I like Tim Burton's movies and I love Alice in Wonderland, but I wasn't sure how the two would mix. The movie was just OK, nothing spectacular but it did inspire my Alice book mark and this Queen of Hearts card.

I love my laptop...all my friends live in there!

This is a "shout out" to all you lovely, sexy, talented ladies out there. I just love turning on my laptop every morning and seeing all the fantastic things you all create. Not only are you all so talented, but you are all so giving. You are willing to share all your secrets and techniques.

I am inspired and in awe of every single one of you. I love you all and consider you all my sisters.

Somethings I've made recently

I made these baskets out of three pieces of decorative paper. They were so much fun to decorate and fill with goodies.

The little birdhouses are made from one sheet of decorative paper and they are also boxes. One side of the roof opens so you can put candies or goodies inside. The house on the left is filled with Dove chocolates, my favorite.

My Day

Today I am going out shopping, then I'm going to stop at Barnes&Noble to browse the books and to sit and have a cappuccino. Then tonight, out to dinner.

A good way to spend my birthday.

I spent the last week in N.J. because my Dad was in the hospital with pneumonia. Just got home Friday and Saturday my Mom went into the hospital. It might be awhile before I'm back to blogging, so bear with me.
