Fairy pages

I've been wanting to start a Fairy journal. I've been inspired by the book "Fairyopolis" by Cicely Mary Barker. She has several books out and they are all fascinating, but Fairyopolis is done in journal form and is beautifully done.

So I decided to try a couple of Fairy pages in my art journal to see how they would turn out. It's hard to see, but in the last photo the moon is in a little net bag in the lower corner. The envelope on the other page opens up to reveal a secret message.
Now I think I'm going to do an altered book and turn it into a fairy journal.... Wish me luck!

Hello, Joyce!
Thank you for stopping by my blog and for the kind words! Aaaaaahhhhh, girlfriends are just the best! Most all of mine are far away as well. I cherish any time shared together. Your blog is very nice! Have a great day! ~Missy

I love your Barbie, but don't you think she would dye her hair and get an eye tuck?

It's tough to be unemployed, my son is as well. AT&T did it to him.

Enjoy your respite from employment, you are in good company and things will turn around.
